If you motherboard is not on the list above, the 210L should work with your motherboard if it has/supports the following:

* Supports IrDA 1.0
* Uses one of the following Super I/O chipsets: SMC, NS, or Winbond from Yr'99 to current
* BIOS setting allows COM2 to be set to: HPSIR, SIR, IrDA or IrDA1.0

Note for all USERS

* 1. There are many motherboards from various motherboard companies on the market so we assume that most of the newer motherboards built '99 are compatible. However because there are so many motherboards on the market, we are not able to test all motherboards.
